Here’s a video telling the story of how Brasil came to use the blue as their away shirt. It also talks about the superstitions almost every brazilian have, and uses three of the Nike sponsored athletes to illustrate how the superstitions are important (for those who don’t know, Brasil has won their first World Cup using the Camisa Azul, since then it is considered a lucky uniform. Brasil has never lost a World Cup match using that uniform). The best part really, is Luis Fabiano’s rap about his career in the end. The uniform itself is very, VERY ugly (as I mentioned in a previous post). The end of the video also teases for the launch of the Camisa Amarela (Brazil’s traditional yellow shirt uniform). Sorry for the non-portuguese speakers, but the video is in portuguese. It has really cool illustration though. Worth a peek.
